Twig The Skating Sheltie Hits Up South Beach
Another cool canine, Twig the Sheltie (pictured in the lead image) came to skateboarding when her owner Sandy Clark noticed her checking out a toy skateboard at a dog training facility. After allowing her play with the toy for a while, Clark let Twig use her son’s long board to ride on. However, the Clarks had to have one made especially for Twig when they realized she didn't have the weight to be able to carve on her own. With her new board, complete with ceramic ball bearings, she took off like a pro, even riding ramps and steps. Like Tillman, she’s multi-talented, as she also boogieboards and skimboards.
